This Schedule applies to Hyve – Custom Blog Authors.
Entity: Hyve Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 93 613 654 185) (“Hyve”, “we”, “us”)
Last updated: 4 March 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Hyve’s Shopify applications listed on the Shopify App Store, including Hyve – Post to Xero, Hyve – Multipacks, and Hyve – Custom Blog Authors (each an “App”, together the “Apps”), including any related documentation, updates, and support (together, the “Service”).
By installing, accessing, or using an App, you agree to these Terms (including the applicable Schedule(s)). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
Account means the account associated with your Shopify Store and any in-app account state created for use of the Service.
Customer, you, or your means the business entity that installs or uses an App. If an individual installs/uses on behalf of a business, that business is the Customer.
Shopify means Shopify Inc. and its affiliates.
Shopify Store means the Shopify store that installs an App.
Customer Data means information the Service processes or accesses from your Shopify Store (and any connected services), including store settings, orders, products/variants, inventory levels, fulfilments, payouts, blog content, author profiles, and configuration/mapping rules.
Third-Party Services means services not operated by Hyve, including Shopify and (where applicable) Xero.
Subscription Plan means the plan, limits, and pricing selected via Shopify for the relevant App.
You represent that you have authority to bind the Customer to these Terms and to install the App(s) on the Shopify Store, including granting required Shopify permissions.
Each App’s specific functionality is described in its Shopify App Store listing and the relevant Schedule:
Post to Xero (Schedule A)
Multipacks (Schedule B)
Custom Blog Authors (Schedule C)
We may change, add, or remove features over time, including to comply with Shopify platform requirements or to improve the Apps.
Unless Shopify shows otherwise at installation/upgrade, each App includes a free trial period.
All billing (including trial start/end, plan charges, proration, upgrades/downgrades, invoicing, and cancellations) is handled through Shopify’s app billing systems, not directly by Hyve.
Fees are the amounts shown in Shopify at the time you select your Subscription Plan. Taxes (such as VAT/GST/sales tax) may be applied depending on your jurisdiction and Shopify’s billing/tax handling.
Because Shopify processes billing, any refunds/credits are administered through Shopify’s mechanisms and subject to Shopify’s rules and permissions. Nothing in these Terms obliges Hyve to provide refunds except where required by applicable law
You are responsible for:
selecting appropriate App settings, configurations, rules, mappings, and theme code placement (if required);
reviewing results and outputs for correctness (including inventory behaviour, blog display, and accounting postings); and
complying with all laws applicable to your business and your use of the Service (including privacy and consumer laws in the jurisdictions where you operate).
Your use of Shopify and any Third-Party Services is governed by their terms. Third-Party Services may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue APIs and features, which may impact the Service. Hyve is not responsible for Third-Party Service outages, platform changes, or acts/omissions.
You must not (and must not allow others to):
misuse or disrupt the Service (including introducing malware or abusive traffic);
attempt unauthorised access to systems, data, or accounts;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent permitted by law; or
use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes third-party rights.
You own your Customer Data. You grant Hyve a limited licence to access, host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Service.
Our collection and handling of personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy: https://hyvelabs.co/privacy-policy. You are responsible for giving any notices and obtaining any consents required for your use of the Apps.
We take reasonable steps to protect Customer Data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
After you uninstall an App or your subscription ends, we may delete or anonymise Customer Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal requirements (and subject to reasonable backup/retention practices).
Hyve (and its licensors) own all intellectual property rights in the Service. Subject to these Terms and while your subscription is active, Hyve grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
Support channels and response targets may vary by plan and workload. We may change how support is delivered over time.
We may suspend access (in whole or part) if we reasonably believe there is:
a security risk, fraud, abuse, or unlawful use;
a breach of these Terms; or
a requirement to do so to comply with law or a Third-Party Service.
You can stop using an App by uninstalling it and/or cancelling via Shopify (which controls billing status).
We may terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and do not remedy the breach within a reasonable time (where capable of remedy), or where termination is required for legal/security reasons.
On termination, your right to use the Service stops. Billing and any remaining charges are handled through Shopify’s systems. Clauses intended to survive termination (including fees, IP, disclaimers, limitations, and indemnities) survive.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that results will always be correct without your review. Platform changes (including Shopify theme/platform changes and third-party API changes) may affect App behaviour.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Hyve is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, anticipated savings, or data).
Hyve is not liable for issues caused by Third-Party Services (including Shopify), your configurations, your data, or your theme/custom code.
Hyve’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to an App in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for that App via Shopify in that 12-month period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including Australian Consumer Law where it applies).
You indemnify Hyve against claims, losses, damages, and expenses arising from:
your breach of these Terms,
your misuse of the Service, or
your violation of law or third-party rights,
except to the extent caused by Hyve’s breach of these Terms or negligence.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. If you are located outside Australia, you may have mandatory local rights that cannot be excluded; these Terms do not exclude those mandatory rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice (such as in-app or by email). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
This Schedule applies to Hyve – Post to Xero.
Post to Xero is intended to help streamline workflows between Shopify and Xero, including the creation/posting of accounting records based on Shopify data and your configuration.
The App does not provide accounting, taxation, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for determining the appropriate accounting treatment and tax settings for your business and reviewing all outputs before relying on them.
You are responsible for:
choosing chart of accounts mappings, tax rates/codes, tracking categories, rounding settings, and posting rules; and
validating outputs (including invoices, journals, or other accounting entries) in Xero.
Incorrect configuration, inconsistent Shopify data, or changes in Shopify/Xero settings can lead to incorrect postings.
Post to Xero depends on third-party access (Shopify and Xero). If Xero API permissions change, tokens expire, or platform behaviour changes, posting may be delayed or fail. You are responsible for maintaining valid connections and permissions.
You acknowledge that Shopify order/payout data can change (e.g., edits, refunds, chargebacks, fulfilment changes). You are responsible for reconciliation and for handling any adjustments required in your accounting system.
In general, the App does not create duplicate entries on its own and every order can be replayed where an order gets updated or overwritten. However, when it comes to re-posting or historical posting, you are responsible for ensuring you do not duplicate entries and for confirming your accounting system state before initiating such actions as orders may already exist in your accounting system prior to in-app re-posting.
Depending on plan/limits, the App may impose or inherit constraints (e.g., volume, time windows, or platform rate limits). Where the App provides limits, those are part of your Subscription Plan.
This Schedule applies to Hyve – Multipacks.
Multipacks links the inventory of a “parent” (multipack/bundle/kit) with its component SKUs so that inventory updates can be applied in response to events such as orders, fulfilments, restocks, and inventory updates.
You are responsible for:
defining pack/component relationships correctly (including quantities);
ensuring component SKUs are valid and track inventory as expected; and
testing behaviour across all relevant store workflows (draft orders, edits, partial fulfilments, returns, exchanges, locations, and third-party fulfilment/inventory tools).
If you use multi-location inventory or third-party inventory management systems, you acknowledge:
inventory “source of truth” may be affected by other apps and integrations;
timing/order of updates can affect outcomes; and
Shopify/platform rate limits and event timing may impact sync responsiveness.
Because inventory can be modified by multiple actors (staff, APIs, apps, fulfilment systems), you acknowledge the App cannot guarantee perfect consistency in all circumstances. You remain responsible for monitoring stock integrity and operational outcomes.
The App does not control Shopify theme logic, checkout customisations, or the behaviour of other apps that may bundle, split, or modify cart/order contents. Conflicts may occur and may require configuration changes.
This Schedule applies to Hyve – Custom Blog Authors.
The App provides author profile management and presentation capabilities for blog content, subject to your Shopify theme’s rendering behaviour.
You are responsible for:
ensuring your theme supports (or is updated to support) how author information is displayed; and
implementing any required theme changes/snippets according to Hyve documentation, if applicable.
Theme updates, OS 2.0 theme changes, or custom theme code may impact author display.
You are solely responsible for:
author names, bios, images, links, and any content you publish using the App; and
ensuring you have rights/permissions to use that content.
Performance and display outcomes can depend on your theme, other apps, and storefront customisations. Hyve is not responsible for theme-level conflicts or custom code issues outside the App.
